FAQs

Are you open during lockdown?

YES.

Podiatry and Foot Health are an essential medical service and are able to stay open throughout the national lockdown according to government guidelines.

We are closely following regulations and guidelines set out by a variety of bodies including; the government, HCPC, College of Podiatry, Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and our clients requests (within reason).

What can I expect from a visit during the pandemic?

We kindly request that all clients contact us for appointments via telephone (01491 260320) or email (info@henleypodiatry.com) at the moment. This gives us the chance to find out the specifics of your presenting issue, and to ensure you are healthy and safe to attend the clinic.

We are running a reduced service with larger gaps in between clients to allow for thorough decontamination and ventilation of the clinic room.

Clients must wear a mask to their appointment. You will not be allowed entry without a face mask in place.

Our clinicians will take your temperature upon arrival to the clinic. Our clinicians will be wearing appropriate PPE for your procedure. If you have a raised temperature we will politely ask you to leave and seek a covid test.

We kindly request that you come alone to your appointment, unless of course you require a chaperone or have a child which cannot be left alone. Under 16's must have an adult with them.

If you have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone whom has tested positive for or is experiencing covid symptoms, we politely request that you are honest with us so that we can reschedule your appointment to a new suitable date. Whilst we do wear PPE, we are running by strict guidelines as we work closely with many vulnerable clients and a member of our staff is in the vulnerable category also.
