First Aid Instructor including Paediatrics, Defibrillator and Anaphylaxis training
Jessica opened Henley Podiatry and Health Therapies in 2018 following developing practices in London both in private practice and the NHS for over 10 years..
Jessica studied Bsc (Hons) Podiatry at the University of Huddersfield after gaining an interest in the lower limb following a series of injuries whilst training as a dancer. She has continued to develop her knowledge of podiatry and human health by regularly participating in various courses.
Jessica has a varied interest in podiatric issues ranging from paediatric care and biomechanical issues to nail surgery and wound care. Jessica also tutors at The SMAE Institute for Foot Heath Professionals.
During her dance training Jessica regularly participated in pilates and quickly saw the benefits when recovering from injury. She therefore trained with APPI (matwork) and Polestar Pilates (comprehensive - includes matwork and all equipment) to bring pilates to her clients as a form of exercise and rehabilitation.
Jessica regularly incorporates pilates into injury rehabilitation and as a method to improve balance, stability and bone strength (suitable for all ages).
Jessica is currently on maternity leave but can be contacted by email via email@example.com

make a difference to people through nutrition and coaching. I am passionate about helping
people with digestive issues, tiredness, anxiety and joint and muscle pain so they can get on
with living their lives. I know how to support my clients and can inspire others since I
reclaimed my own health with nutrition and lifestyle changes. I value freedom and
enjoyment of life.
I specialise in digestive health and in my MSc research reviewed the link between the
integrity of the intestinal lining and gut bacterial imbalances and rheumatoid arthritis
inflammation (e.g. joint/muscle pain). It highlighted the possible role of probiotics in the
reduction/management of rheumatoid arthritis symptoms.
I have retrained because I learnt so much about nutritional health and lifestyle factors to reclaim my
own health back in 2014, which demonstrated the importance to me of digestive health.
Previously, I was a finance manager and have 17 years’ experience in the
telecommunications sector, originally training as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, New

Clinical and Rehabilitative Pilates Instructor
Born and raised in Australia, Liesel always lived an active life and understood the
importance of remaining fit and healthy in every sense. Her passion for Pilates began early on as it supplemented her training in classical ballet and athletics and helped her improve her strength, stamina and flexibility.
After gaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, followed by a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, she went on to spend a number of years in both clinical and corporate environments. During this time she found it it much more challenging to take care of her health and well-being. Sitting for extended periods and having limited time for physical activity led to the onset of low back, knee and neck pain. Returning to a regular Pilates practice significantly improved these issues, but also inspired her to help others in the same way.
Liesel completed the Certificate 3 in Mat Pilates, Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity for Low Back Pain, Level 3 Certificate in Nutrition for Physical Activity and the Level 3 Diploma in GP Exercise Referral and now teaches Pilates and mobility classes for people of all ages and fitness levels. With a mindful, empathetic teaching style, she makes sure each class is varied and tailored to individual needs. She believes strongly that loving whatever you do in life is key to success and so her classes are not only detail-oriented
but also enjoyable.
